This is such a great find, just 15 mins drive from Eisenstadt. The winery looks like it stepped out of Australia: cool, elegant, modern architecture located on the edge of the princely vineyards.
The tour is well presented, the guide’s English was excellent, the wine is amazingly good, and they’re not shy with the servings provided.
A lovely surprise: one of the nicest winery experiences I’ve had anywhere (Australia, South Africa, France and California included). Highly recommended.

Esterhazy's relatively new winery is a great showcase for their Burgenland wines, and we booked a tasting and tour here and were amazed by the hospitality and generosity of the venue, and the knowledge and welcome by our hostess Julia. We were able to choose half a dozen samples - including their straw wine, and also a plate of fresh bread, cheeses and some of their lovely wine themed jams and condiments. One of the nicest of hundreds of winery visits we have done over the world - well done Esterhazy.

Nice, modern, clean winery.
I prefere classic old style wineries, but the new and modern bulding is warm and.
The staff is friendly with an excellent knowledge of wine science.
I recommend to visit, but the visit of a classic one is a must...

I always take the opportunity to visit wineries in each country I am travel to. Esterhazy Winery was on our way from Esterhazy Palace. Very clean and carefully maintained. We were told that not more than 20 people are working there, but wines are delivered to the different parts of the world. The Esterhazy wines were highly appreciated at the Imperial Court in Vienna. Take a tour with wine testing, it will not be long since the winery is very small, and enjoy wine tasting.
Prices for wine are reasonable and you can also buy some other specialties.
