elegante monumento

A pochi chilometri da Sisian si trova questo monumento funebre attorniato da lapidi e datato verso il settimo secolo. Non se ne sa molto ma di sicuro è una struttura elegante e ha un suo fascino per cui vale la digressione.

Monument met wat fraaie grafstenen.

Rond het monument liggen een aantal fraaie grafstenen. De vorige keer stond het gras behoorlijk hoog en toen zijn ze mij ontgaan.

Bello e con un po' di mistero

Stando alle guide, non vi sono certezze sull'uso e sulla datazione di questa bella tomba a torre con capitelli istoriati e vari simboli, circondata da antiche croci di pietra. Stando però alla versione più accreditata, si tratta di un manufatto risalente al VII secolo della nostra era, che sarebbe giunto in ottimo stato di conservazione fino a noi. Misteri a parte, vale senz'altro la pena di fermarsi, nel giro dei siti turistici attorno a Sisian, nel villaggio di Aghitu per osservarla con attenzione.

Этот памятник находится в селе Агиту в 4 километрах восточнее Сисиана. Он построен над склепом, в котором, вероятно, покоятся защитники села, погибшие при нападении персидского войска. Монумент украшен гранатовыми, виноградными и другими орнаментами. Очень необычно. Впрочем, этот регион сумеет удивить не только этим памятником, но и древними дольменами, которые датируется еще 1-2 веками до нашей эры.

Памятник в память о храбных сюникских князьях

По легенде надгробная постройка 7 века была воздвигнута в память о трех сюникских князьях, погибших в битве с персидским войском за село Агуди. Этот памятник построен на гробнице храбрых князей. Так это или нет, нам остается только догадываться. Но для местных жителей этот памятник имеет особое значение, ведь не даром его изображение было помещено на 1000-драмовой банкноте старого образца.

Сисян – одно из древнейших поселений Зангезура. В его окрестностях обнаруживаются пямятники, скажем, 6 века. К ним в числе прочих относится довольно высокая погребальная стела в деревне Агиту. Она восьмигранная, установлена на сводчатым склепом между двумя прямоугольными пилонами и украшена животно-растительными орнаментами и мастерски выполненной резной капителью. Подобные оригинальные сооружения даже в Армении встречаются не сплошь и рядом.
