A free museum with working water wheel. Old water powered saws, quite fascinating, only seen one like it before in the US, well worth a visit.

Moderately interesting but free so you might as well pop in if you're in the area. The rafting part is the best bit. If you walk from Schiltach Mitte bhf along the river bank you will see an odd wooden structure. Continue along the river...More

Well presented Timber Museum. Of the four museums in Schiltach, this was the most interesting. Easily accessible from the town, right along the river. The raftsman are an interesting concept, unusual to Americans. Worth the vist!
