2 people on a motorbike pay 41.000 rp to enter, and if you are stupid like we were and entered first Watu Ulo - you paid 20.000 rp there, so altogether 61.000 rp....
Im a foreigner but pay local price because i have an Indonesian ID card, so thats okey for me.
But other foreigners pay moore than double...just because they are foreigners.
Different price.
When we arrived to the gate, there was already 2 foreign guys beeing very confused about why they have different price from whats written on the signboard
Of course everybody thinks they are beeing rip off - this is nice ????
Seriously, the price should be same for everybody.
All humans are same same regardless of skin colour, but the Indonesian goverment doesnt seem to think that.
Another thing is that this price is far far too expensive for example young people who wanna visit the beach with their friends.
They have no money left anymoore after paying the expensive entrace fee...wouldnt it be better if they could support the small warungs there instead by having some money over to buy a coffe or coconut ?
Now they dont buy anything and the warungs who had a very hard time during Covid dont make enough money...but the already rich Indonesian goverment is making money from high entrance fees...is this correct ????

I visited this place with family from Jember. It spend around 1 hour by car. Before entering the beach area, there was a view point on the curb where we can see the cape from high.
There was entrance fee to enter this place. And near the entrance there was a view point Goa Lowo & Goa Jepang where we could see the cape from there and it was a good spot for taking picture. Then we continue to the beach and we took lunch first. There were many food stalls and mostly the menu was sea food. This place also famous with its edamame. Must try. Very fresh.
The beach was beautiful with some rocks formation. There was another view point near the beach where we could see the whole beach and rocks.

Papuma beach is a very exotic beach compared to the existing beaches in East Java, because it’s beautiful and charming sea by having turquoise color tone ocean and a very fine white sand. The sandy part suitable for family vacation, on the other side, the rocky part is match for nature lover.

This is one of the best to see “milkyway” in Java. Highly recommended. You can choose either stay on tent or on cottage. Best time to visit is during new moon.

The best beach in the area of Jember. The composition of coral reefs and the stretch of beach that forms a beautiful natural scenery and attracts tourists. Around the beach, stalls lined up providing fresh fish food menus caught by fishermen. Be careful with wild monkeys hanging on trees. #batulocalguides #letsguide

The view is nice, cleanliness should be improved, cannot swim there because of the waves. There are villas for rent, but I don’t know about the rate.
The grilled fishes are delicious, and quite cheap. Love it.

Wonderful beach. People just didnt know if it exists so it's less commercial (which is good).
But definitely worth your visit. Love the sunset

Took a trip from Bondowoso to this place. About 2hrs drive. Road leads to the place was very hilly and steep. So be sure to be careful if you are drivig urself.
Pros - well its a hidden beach.
OK OK eating place(Ikan Bakar)
Quiet. There are some resorts i saw along Tg Papuma. I would just do a day few hrs trip.
Cons - long journey.
Nothing much to do except chill.
The beaches doesnt seem too friendly to wade/swim in it.(too much stones everywhere)
