Awsome museum to visit with your family. It gives a glimpse of your past history. Not a popular tourist destination but was fun to visit.

A journey into History

The museum give a glimpse into the past of the culturally rich Bhotiyas of Indo -Tibetan border region. It is astonishing to see the instruments used for weaving carpets, how beautiful, colorful designs are woven. The old plough and other handmade instruments and equipment used for farming are also on display, which gives us an understanding of the traditional farming of the region. Besides the jewellery, old utensils, different varieties of grains, tell us about how advanced and self reliant a community the Bhotiyas were.
It is a small museum, but is loaded with information about the community.
