Come and visit us for a tour of the Distillery, see our 5 copper pot stills and the traditional worm tubs that make our Talisker so unique, then take a look at the casks in the warehouse where the Angel’s Share is lost to evaporation during maturation. Very nice visit on a rainy day. Informative guide around how our favourite tipple is made. Thanks to Laura who spoke clearly with good tone and volume,

Fun place to visit but in a comparison alongside the distilleries the likes of Kilchoman or Ardbeg on Islay it's not near the experience. The biggest downside to me was that the tastings after the tour were given to us in little plastic cups which was a major turnoff. The whiskey was decent but not my type when compared to... More

We thought they might cancel the tour because it was just the two of us, but Hugh showed us an excellent tour. He was informative, funny, and gave us a wonderful and personalised whiskey tasting at the end. It was the best whiskey tour and tasting I have ever been on. Thanks so much Hugh!

We went to Skye in the depths of winter and decided a trip to this whisky distillery was a must. We arrived by taxi which is £25 from Portree and is a beautiful drive (the taxi drivers on Skye are like tour guides and they even stopped to let us take pictures). We arrived to find it was only the... More

We have visited many distilleries and this one was much looked forward to as my husband has aways liked Tallisker. The tour was disappointing the guide was not engaging and it was all very standard information given in a robotic fashion. The microphones are so impersonal. The shop was well stocked and very reasonably priced, staff in the reception area... More

If your make it to the Isle of Skye this place is a must! They stayed open to let us buy scotch which was so kind bc we had driven 7 hours to get there. Their scotch is phenomenal, and even more so than the scenery surrounding thr location! We bought a bought and went on a hike at the... More

Visiting from France, we really enjoyed this distillery by the sea. Unlike another distillery we've visited, Talisker looks a bit more "standardised". We visited the distillery with a larger group of people, and there were lots of people queuing or visiting. The Talisker distillery is quite big but majestic, as it lies in front of the sea. Regarding the tour,... More

This wasn't out first tour at a distillery, but the guide impressed us with honesty and general knowledge about the 'whisky business'. Get there after the distillery is closed for a good view when the tourists have left. A clear evening is an excellent chance for impressive views from the pier.

One of the mandatory places to visit if you are in the Isle of Skye. They do a very nice tour that takes you arround the distillery and makes you appreciat how difficult it is to make scotch and what makes Talisker special.

We visited several distilleries throughout Scotland. This was one I looked forward to, but we were quite disappointed. The staff treated us as they couldn't care less and gave us no feeling of being interested in giving us some more information about their famous whisky. Their visitor center exhibition was far better than their staff and gave us more information.... More
