I can absolutely see that, if you’re into antique toys or model trains, this would be a dream museum. However, since I am neither, I have to give this a lower rating. On the plus side, the museum is well laid out, spacious and clean....More

We did not plan on going as it was in Anger, nit Bad Reichendall, but it was worth it. Excellent play area and ride on train for small kids. For teens the metal toys were a curiosity, more interesting for adults. However, the nain train...More

By chance I found this wonderful attraction on Google maps. We were only able to spend about a hour but could easily have spent much longer. The antique toys are truly a wonderful exhibit. The car collection is priceless. The outdoor railway for kids looks...More

This is a beautifully laid out exhibition of toys from yesteryear (including some amazing clockwork ships), a history of the landspeed record, and one of the most amazing model railways I've ever seen. The style is quite minimalist, which slightly bemused my three children (ages...More

Our whole family found this a wonderful - from children to grandparents. The model train was amazing, and all the historical toys kept us interested for many hours. The playground outside was a lot of fun for the children, who didn't want to leave.

I wasn't quite sure about it but I guess I was wrong. Nice Museum, amazing set up. Nice Porsches on display; good restaurant as well. You will like it. Near the A8. 20 minutes away from Salzburg. Quite nice.

Do you remember when you were little and the year came to an end. Parents would take their children and go after hours to look at all the Christmas decorations of the major department stores. There you'd dream about playing with slot car race tracks,...More

hello Abijit, I do not know. I guess, since taxis are more expensive in Europe than in Asia - assume about €20 per 10km. I guess Salzburg to Anger is about 20km, so plan about €40 per trip. cheers and enjoy markus

The museum is a little north of Salzburg. You can take the train to Bad Reichenhall and then the bus from there. Enjoy.
