The Park of the Spring of Nitrodi offers a hydro-aromatherapy trail which thanks to the direct contact with aromatic and officinal plants boosts the effects of the water. After having drunk the water and taken a shower, visitors can go for a walk in the Park and stop in the specially organised hydro-aromatherapy areas.

We went to the Nitrodi spring as part of an organised round-the- island trip. Consequently it was a bit on the busy side. Nevertheless, it is worth going. The location is lovely and if you want a spa treatment they are all available. They also sell rejuvinating mud packs and treatments to take away. Our companions were quite keen, but... More

This is a great alternative to the larger day spa's on Ischia. It is claimed the waters of Nitrodi have wonderful healing powers, especially for skin ailments. Small, inexpensive and relaxing. There's a great little cafeteria offering yummy healthy salads & juices. Check it out if you're after an authentic Ischia natural spring that dates back to Roman times.

Do not forget bathing flips flops and maybe spare swimsuit for those who do not like staying in wet ones - because you will not leave this place earlier then at closing hours :-) Nice, clean, well maintained - I am not sure with effect on skin for just one visit, anyway do... The most amazing place ever! It was totally relaxing, and I physically felt the effects of the healing waters. I highly recommend! I also highly recommend the Cantina restaurant at the entrance of the Fonte delle Ninfe. The small family owned restaurant has some of the best food I had during my entire stay in Italy! http://www.fonteninfenitrodi.com/en/

I came in the beginning of July. It's so hot and humid everywhere and Nitrodi was like a breath of fresh air. The hillside picks up a nice fresh breeze and the mineral showers were very refreshing. Some pools would be nicer and a bit more space amongst the gardens (the terraces are very narrow), but it's still a lovely... More

The facilities are comfortable since the baths were renovated and include changing rooms, Before it was a pipe connected to the spring (off season it is still like that). The water contains colagen stimulants and is also used for patients with serious scars. Your skin feels wonderful after the visit. The road towards the spring is less suitable for disabled... More
