We took one full day and two half day tours. Hana was the best tour guide. She knew everything, and she gave her talks in both English and Spanish. The bus they used was very comfortable, and the tours included the park pass, which is $80USD if you buy it at the airport. And all the important sites require the... More

Our knowledgeable guide, Hanna, spoke excellent English and escorted us for 4 half day tours . she gave us a good insight into the life of the tribes, the carving of the the Moais and the Birdman ceremony. She recounted the indigenous people's tribulations over the last 150 years. Hanna and her driver were punctual, the driver was courteous. on... More

We booked one full day tour and two half days tours with this company with many months in advance. I dealt with Jeannette Meneses who provided excellent information. We also dealt with Cinthya Cuevas at the office and she was real nice and understanding. Our first tour was the full day. Our guide did not introduce herself or the driver... More

We booked a couple of trips with Mahinatur after being let down by another operator. I was impressed with the professional friendly service, easy booking and the knowledge of the guides, the lunch on the full day tour was excellent and only a minor detail but they seem to use much more modern transport than many of the other operators... I took a half day group tour to Orongo and Rano Kau. Fantastic view of the water-filled crater of Rano Kau and out to sea of Motu Nui from Orongo. I was impressed with our guide Hannah's professionalism. She not only helped us understand the sites, she was very effective in managing English and Spanish speakers. She switched languages without... More

We really enjoyed the 3 tours (1 full day, 1 morning and 1 afternoon) offered by Mahinatur, that cover almost everything that has to be visited in Easter Island! In fact, we're going to rent a car for a couple of days, but gave up on it as we felt we'd already covered everything we wanted to see with the... More

We took both a half day tour and the full day, with Mahinatur. While both were informative the full- day with Hannah( diminutive of her Rapa Nui name)was excellent from beginning to end. She was steeped in the history of the island and was able to convey it in both Spanish and English, with equal time given to both languages.... More

My parents and I (I'm an adult) took a full day tour and 2 half day tours of Easter Island with Claudia. These were private tours, just the 4 of us. This was the best way to experience the island in a short time in my opinion. While driving yourself would be easy with the aide of a guidebook,Claudia provided... More

We took the full-day highlights group tour in December 2015. Our tour guide Natalia was wonderful. A local of Easter Island, she was very informative about both the history and the culture. She was also informed about the theories of many of the archaeologists who have studied the Moai and Rapa Nui people. Our group asked her a lot of... More

I did a full day and two half day tours, these tours didn't duplicate. Tour guides are informative, especially the full day tour, very knowledgeable on history and local tips, you can ask for drop off at Tahai, which is near the promenade of town centre, instead of hotel, then you can enjoy the sunset with moai and walk to...
