The beach is probably one of the better beaches in the St Ives area and is (was) quite quiet. The good thing is that there is little surf due to the bay so swimming is easier. The only issue for us was the restaurant from...More

Spent some time here during our stay! This is an excellent beach, huge sandy expanses and beautiful blue water. Far better that any in the main St Ives area in our opinion. Get here early to get a good spot!

Think the previous answers are correct. However be aware that when we visited there was a huge amount of building work going on.

The hotel is at the end of the beach where the work is as well so if your house is at the far end you should be ok. Also the beach is very long.
