Stopped off on one of our long walks. A lovely spot. the windmill is well preserved and maintained. Can't imagine it ever gets too crowded, as surely only a few people could fit in at one time, but on our visit we had the windmill to ourselves so were able to really see it all and head up the steep... As usual the National trust have done a wonderful job of painting this old windmill for future generations, We stopped off on our way int.o Bembridge and were very pleased we did, warm and friendly volunteers imparting their knowledge of this rarely seen site anymore

We had a meander along the small roads up to the Mill - 30 minute walk but the views and countryside were beautiful - lovely sunny day - great info in the Windmill which was partly museum

Went here asan add on to visiting Bembridge, and glad we did. Its a fascinating piece of history and makes you realise just how hard work was before mechanisation. The windmill is in a prominant position looking out over fields and the climb to the top to see all the workings is worth the effort. See if you can find... More

This was our first holiday to the Isle of Wight as a family so we wanted to visit some attractions that would be pram friendly with our 3 month old baby. We also had my husband's parents with us. As we are all National Trust members we opted to visit the windmill. The staff were very kind in catering for... More

As a member of the national trust, I thankfully didn't have to pay. The gentleman was nice on arrival but the windmill was very quick and not that fascinating... great 4G reception though!

A very interesting look at the inside workings of a windmill, including a video that played and filled in any gaps for the very helpful staff. There is also something for the children to do with them looking for hidden miller's with great names. They also had a nature trail around the fence that tested the whole family. Took a... More
