Can’t say I’ve visited too many windmills in the past, but this one almost feels like you could flick a switch and see it working again. You can explore all the floors from top to bottom to see the various shafts, belts and cogs all...More

Something to look at on a wet afternoon, as NT members. Took our interest for about half an hour. Had a laugh with a couple trying the outfits provided, like Windy Miller from Camberwick Green. ( TV childrens Programme from years ago )

The mill is well maintained and is good a short visit as it’s a very small site and there are no facilities. It is still worth the visit if you are passing..

The parking for this attraction is a nearby lay-by which was fine out of season but I wonder how that would be in the height of summer. The reception has a few drinks for sale but there is no cafe. There are also no toilets....More

Had a lovely visit here last week. I'm not brilliant with heights but went to the top of the windmill. It was interesting to see how it used to work and how many levels there were. Very interesting

Another national trust property which is you are not a member does require payment to visit, the windmill is very well preserved and quite a fascinating insight into how they work. Beyond the windmill there is not much to do here but in terms of...More
