We stopped off for a look round and it was well worth it, but if you are not a National Trust member with free entry, I think it's expensive for what's on offer. The windmill is presented with most of its working gear in place...More

If you’re a NT member and are in the area this windmill is worth a quick stop at. I wouldn’t pay the £4 entrance fee though. No real facilities here - no toilets or proper refreshments. Some gifts and drink available in the small ticket...More

If you like windmills, this is great. There’s an exhibit inside showing showing how things worked, and the grounds are lovely. You can definitely have some nice walks around here. However, I have to say I would not have paid for this one - we...More

A quaint and interesting stop off on the island. It is one of the key tourist attractions as it seems to be mentioned everywhere on the islands literature. It is an interesting exhibition on 3 levels. There is also a video explaining how windmills work....More

My mother was totally ignored by 2 members of staff when she stood waiting to pay for 2 (expensive ) tickets. They were discussing a mobile phone and didn't acknowledge her at all whilst she patiently waited. My mother picked up 2 squirrel figures on...More

Very interesting place gives you a real insight into how the windmill would have worked. There are 3 floors each with an explanation of the equipment. There is a small garden with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

This is a National Trust property. Parking is somewhat limited. It was interesting to get inside and see the workings of this lovely windmill.

We went with the dog so took it in turns to go inside the windmill. There are very steep steps to the top but informative signs to learn about the milling process. Would recommend going just to have a look if National Trust members but...More

Bembridge Windmill is worth a visit, especially if you visit as National Trust members, in which case entry is free. Climb to the top for the full experience - fascinating little place.

Difficult parking if there are more than a few vehicles. Long walk from the road. Not good for wheelchairs. Would think that you were allowed to park near the entrance if you were a blue badge holder. Apparently, last remaining windmill on the island. Video...More
