Tried the Sunday dinner and wasn’t left disappointed All of the vegetables are freshly cooked and the meat is from a good supplier Couldn’t manage a pud though Also serve a very good pint of real ale Made to real welcome Service good Will return...More

Make sure you have a good appetite. Lovely old fashioned canalside pub. The bar and restaurant are on the first floor. Downstairs there is a games bar and a lovely outside area, with a covered area plus beer garden for eating outdoors if you prefer....More

A pleasant and welcoming pub that isn't too expensive. Nice outdoor play area for the kids with seating.

Our first try of the Sunday lunches at The Anchor. Had an excellent meal, food really well cooked and plenty of it too! Good vegetarian option too for my wife. Definitely recommended!

Went to the anchor for a meal with my wife, we both had steaks which were cooked perfect and well presented, the service was excellent and a credit to the chef and his team. will certainly be going back and taking our friends
