This is the most wonderful place, amazing fresh food, amazing value for money, clean and fresh , you will not get a bad meal here, the food is consitantly good, if you love fresh cooked food at an amazing price you will not be disappointed
Tried the Sunday dinner and wasn’t left disappointed
All of the vegetables are freshly cooked and the meat is from a good supplier
Couldn’t manage a pud though
Also serve a very good pint of real ale

Make sure you have a good appetite.
Lovely old fashioned canalside pub. The bar and restaurant are on the first floor. Downstairs there is a games bar and a lovely outside area, with a covered area plus beer garden for eating outdoors if you prefer....More
Attractive garden with lovely flower tubs and hanging baskets,there is also a large well thought out canopy area should a shower interrupt.A large separate play area is provided for children complete with bouncy castle all set out in spacious grounds.

Went to the anchor for a meal with my wife, we both had steaks which were cooked perfect and well presented, the service was excellent and a credit to the chef and his team. will certainly be going back and taking our friends
