We spend a very enjoyable and interesting couple of hours here, great value as well as it only cost €4.50 each including English audio guide. The museum is modern and easy to follow and took us about an hour. Outside are several original tombs and reconstructions, again easy to follow the tour with the audio to explain what we were... Out inb the countryside you just do not expect to find a site like this wirth an excellent modern museum and a real feeling of history. Difficult to believe our distant ancestors could achieve the building of these tombs and that they remain to this day, also an excellent centre for educating kids.

Glad we stopped here on our travels! Such a unique place to visit and so interesting, walking in the steps of such ancient history. The english handsets provided all the information required and each piece was no more than a few minutes, with option to hear more if required. The Tumuli themselves were amazing and incredible that they are in... More

This is an interesting site for history buffs. They have headsets in english. They say there are numbers on the sites, that you put into the headset, but most of the numbers are missing. However, if you just start with 1 and work up into the 30s, you can figure out where you are supposed to be. Lots of interesting... More

Was not sure what to expect so it was a pleasant surprise to see such a modern building housing the museum. The grounds were also lovely too. It was interesting to see the site and learn about it with an audio guide, which was provided in different languages and very helpful! Good activity for an afternoon out in the sun!

Arrived at the site around lunchtime. Good picnic area which we made use of before visiting the museum and site. Kids, aged 8 and10 were interested engaged in the hands on activities. Excellent English audio guide. Museum staff were friendly and helpful. We were all done by 4pm. Exceptional value ... kids go free. Don't forget suncream and hats.

To walk into a dolmen that is over six thousand years old has been incredible for us and our kids. Additionally there is a great museum and cafeteria. Special mention for the extraordinarily friendly staff. After a week of lots of sightseeing and very little info in English or Spanish, the audio-guides were a blessing: brilliantly narrated and easy to... More

This is an excellent museum with a significant and fascinating grouping of Neolithic megaliths. The site itself comprises a museum with audio guides available in English and then the outdoor area which takes a tour around a 1km circuit (flat) which shows, in recreation, how the megaliths were made before leading to the actual megaliths themselves - many of which... This is a special place. It combines a remarkable prehistoric site with a superb quite small museum with changing exhibitions. The site is large and very atmospheric - but some walking is invoked. Thoroughly recommended

It's frankly rare that you find "ruins" or ancient sites that are virtually destroyed and requiring a great deal of imagination to try and picture what they once looked like - that is not the case here! There are several tumulus, from ones that are still largely buried, to ones that are partly destroyed and, best of all, ones that... More
