An unremarkable beach which didn't live up to the hype. Nice clean sea but too many boats and too many people. The hotels have parcelled off their bits of the beach, providing deck chairs for hotel guests only. The public can use the far end....More

Alona beach itself pretty much disappointed us. It more a waterfront for small restaurants and diving shops, plus some accommodation. Getting there takes you through a anti-cozy street with a lkt lot of touristic stuff. You need to go to the beach if you gonna...More

Many called it little boracay. Many nice beachfront resorts and restaurants along a strip of white sand about a kilometer long. But beach is crowded by motorized boats or bancas. Good for divers as many beautiful dive sites are on nearby islands. Tip when you...More

The beach has a lot of options to do. Restaurants with prices for all budget. Dive, snorkeling, street atractions are some things to do and see there.

Looks like Boracay but very touristy. Go to Dumaluan beach instead because that is less busy, ideal for kids.

The beach itself is REALLY beautiful! But the government could do at least a small job in there and make it so much enjoyable. The island hoping is awesome, just like seeing the turtles. It is definitely worth going, but 3 sunny days is enough.

It’s not bad, parts of the beach in areas are very dirty, other parts are clean. If your in the area def go here. There are lots of places to stay on the beach

As a beach, this place doesn’t get great reviews. But I liked it. Fine white sand, very clean water, loads of dive shops, very relaxed atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants, but not many good quality although all are cheap, and only one bar that...More

It depends what you want, the beach is very crowded, with lots of sales people around, there is also a lot of restaurants, and tons of boats in the water, the beach area is ok, with pretty clean sand. Besides the beach area, there is...More

Alona beach is a study in contradictions that has not figured out what it wants to be. It has grown way to fast in the last 5 years and is now a hodgepodge of overcrowded mediocre restaurants, assorted motels from poor to fancy with a...More
