Alona Beach is great if you are looking for a lot of restaurants and nightlife. The beach is pretty crowded and unfortunately a bit too narrow for sunbathing when the sun goes down in the afternoon. Very clean considering the above mentioned things.

The beach itself was small and lined with restaurants. It was too touristy and commercialized for our taste. It was lined with boats which I imagine were for the island hopping tours (about 400 pesos per person per activity).
