"Sandbar in the middle of the sea"

We reached the Virgin Island after our fish feeding and snorkeling at Balicasag Island. The water is about knee deep high, white sand and I have noticed a lot of sea weeds. Not... read more

The island would have been a nice place to hang out at and ponder life if not for the many tourists that are taking pictures at every inch of the island and the sellers with jewelry, sea urchin, bananaques, etc. There is not much shelter apart from the stalls selling banana cues and other things. Water is too low during... More

We reached the Virgin Island after our fish feeding and snorkeling at Balicasag Island. The water is about knee deep high, white sand and I have noticed a lot of sea weeds. Not good for swimming but ok to sit down on the sand and enjoy the view with the fresh sea breeze blowing around you and top it off... More

Fine white sands...although swimming may not be great (because the water is full of weeds) but just sitting on the sand with a coconut in your hand...bliss.

I can't believe they have this as part of an island tour as there's nothing much to it. The beach itself was ok, clean blue water but very shallow, maybe 2 ft. If you swim farther away from the sand bar, it's all reeds and grass you'll see underwater. We reached the end of the "island" within minutes of walking... More

we are lucky to experience walking on the sandbar during our visit. With its crystal clear water and powdery white sand, the place is so gorgeous every picture would be perfect, so make sure your camera has enough battery power & memory!

Beautiful sandbar but not ideal for swimming since there are many sea urchins nearby. The place is very popular among tourists but it is just a tiny sandbar and getting a decent photo will be a challenge since your camera will almost always capture other tourists in view as unconscious photo bombers.

Amazing, must see. Went when the tide was high so we could not walk the whole sand bar. Definitely worth it.

we loved our day trip to virgin island -- it was the highlight of our trip. the water is exquisite -- clear, warm and so very inviting. it was a great stop on our island hop. it is a bit congested, but fun all the same. the fried bananas are die-for delicious!
