About
Our beautiful established winery and vineyard is on the Bellarine in Victoria. The winemaking philosophy of minimalist intervention from our low yielding vineyard encourages high natural and sugar levels, resulting in well structured, elegant wines. We specialise in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Shiraz plus many more! All wines are made and bottled on site in our full production winery. Our Cellardoor is open for Wine Tastings and Sales Thursday to Sunday from 11am (with extended trading days during holiday periods)

The Chardonnay is actually very good. The restaurant though is disappointing. While the food was OK the restauarant could not cope with the number of booking taken. An hour wait for food, and my dish was delivered 10 minutes before those of my companions. Staff were friendly and apologetic, but it did not really make up for the outcome. A single toilet, which opens directly onto the eating area, was insufficient for the 60+ diners, resulting in a queue. Suggest they reduce the number of bookings accepted if the kitchen etc can't cope.

Wonderful little venue off the main roads, matched all the online reviews and then some.

Super friendly staff, fantastic food and great wine. To top it off, beautiful ambience!

Loved the visit and will be back!

Advertised with a closing time of 5pm (sign at venue displaying same information), we were greeted at 3.50pm with ‘are you walk-in’s? You can only order snack food, we close between 4-5’.

After writing down our first item ordered, the waitress then instantly walked away.
We had to seek service to finish ordering & to even get sugar for our hot drinks.
No smile, no politeness.

Extremely disappointing that this sweet little secluded spot with lovely food / drinks is represented with such cold and unwelcoming ambiance.

A simple change for front of house staff to be focused on providing a welcoming customer experience would make the world of difference. Even the addition of some background music would add some cheer.

I organized a function with the head chef for a set menu for a group of 30 people, the main course alternating chicken roulade or beef goulash and potato mash in addition we were offered a platter of hot vegetables to share per table this never happened, however, we did get 2 small bowls of burnt Brussel sprouts, the sweets I ordered were alternating strawberry/chocolate pannacotta we only got strawberry .
The presentation of meals was, to say the least, non-existent.
Our main meal ended up a Beef ragu which was only warm. as a group, we gave them a rating of 4/10 because they put something on a plate.

In a wonderful and not well recognised area the Bellarine Peninsula (for those outside of Vic), this winery was a great experience. A little different with their tasting style, you buy a paddle, similar to a gin flight, and do your own thing.
We loved the wines and stayed for a cheese platter and another glass as lunch.
The staff were lovely and if you are in the region, get there and enjoy a lovely experience.

Ordered 4 tapas dishes to share, my favorite was salmon crudo and arancini balls were delish.Pork terrine was good, but fried cauliflower with lamb was not too bad, as lamb was slightly dried, this dish needed to be served on a flat plate, rather then a bowl, so you can see all the elements of this dish, for $24,thought this dish needed a better presentation. The wines we choose were nice, but wanted a another glass of wine but couldn't get the attention of staff to order, so we decided not to get it in the end. Staff were lovely but had too many different staff to our table. It would nice if staff could say goodbye, when leaving the dinning room.
Overall a lovely day!

WE used to frequent the winery and restaurant until a few years ago when it disappointed
Its Back and although the menu is small it was very good and we got a chance to revisit some old favorite wines and some new ones,
We had the spring rolls (homemade and really meaty) Great
Salt and pepper squid with Asian salad, The salad was the Hero as the Squid needed more seasoning but worth a taste
and we also had the Mussles. very good
The Cheese cake was a traditional style (baked and not sweet) and excellent home
made
The building and gardens have always been fantastic, But now the music is supplied via a turntable and l have not lost the touch to change a vinyl record. Thanks for a great Day thanks to the lovely staff

Had lunch with some friends today. The venue was lovely. The wine was one of the best I have tasted on the Bellarine. I was a little disappointed with the food. My meal came out a little cold and I felt it was a tad overpriced.

Enjoyed tasting, platter and bottle of wine for lunch with added bonus of lovely staff. Was surprised I was charged for tasting even though I bought 5 bottles of wine. Have usually found this to be redeemed on purchase of wine.
