We visited Chihuahua and the Plaza de Armas where this church was situated. It was approaching Christmas time so the workers were busy putting up Christmas lights and decorations all along the walking streets and the plaza. They had also built a nativity scene in...More

As beautiful as some small cathedrals in Europe. Make sure to not only go into the main church, but check out the side chapel where there is more gold ornate trim. We visited as the city was getting ready for 16 de septiembre celebrations so...More

Built in the late 1700's, open to public most churches are closed until Sunday. Religious alters are very depicted in old style. Worth a stop for prayer and a pic or two.

This is a beautiful 19th-century church located in the city's central plaza. See it at night for a stunning scene.

Another very beautiful church with some actually nice artworks. As are most in Mexico, it is well worth a visit.

Pretty chuch on the outside. The indoors are simple. Around the church you can see some excavations of old pavement and a small religious art museum. The facade is beatiful and there is a lively, charm plaza in front.
