1st time visiting floating marketing in Thailand and found the stuff & foods selling in reasonable price and the seafood quite nice and fresh. Understand this floating marketing open until midnite and the store in organize manner and clean place.

We walked with a great guide, visited the Princess's agriculture and craft project, the temple in the tree, and the market. Lunch from the hawker boats, and a delightful boat ride. Lots of aromas, colours, flavours and sights - including water lizards. Fabulous.

It's opened on Fri-Sun during 3pm-9pm. If u will go on Friday, u should arrive there around 5 pm. It's better for Friday.

Most likely open everyday and the mornings and evenings are likely to be the best times to go but you should ask and check at a tourist office.

I think the cheapest ways are 1. Van Prachuap/Huahin to Bangkok. You can get on the van opposite Big C Petchaburi. Normally the seats are vacant. If it doesn't during the festival. Tell the driver that you'd like to get off... More
