2 to 3 hours is all it takes to enjoy the park. The birds are many and quite beautiful to watch. There are are a few gorgeous views when taking the bend around the lagoon and when stopping at the cliffs near the sea.

Yala National Park is the Best In Sri Lanka if you got a good guide.

If you do a private tour you can make it as short or as long as you want. If you go in a group tour your in for the duration. Whichever you choose you'll enjoy it. So much to see and the guides are usually pretty good too.
