Comprehensive little museum, set up and run by friendly and enthusiastic volunteers. You don't have to be a train geek to appreciate social heritage. Free, donation encouraged, cute little gift section. Thanks to the bloke (forgotten his name sorry) who tipped us off about the...More

We had time to burn, and seeing as there isn't a whole lot of stuff to do in Borth we decided to wait at the train station and wait for the museum to open. It was worth the wait. It's not a big museum, but...More

The volunteers who have refurbed this part of the station at Borth and collected all the historical pieces are amazing. They have done such a good job and genuinely love to talk to people about the history. It is definitely worth a visit.

Interesting displays, friendly staff. The kids found it slightly boring but that’s to be expected XD.

A delightful if small local museum of railway memorabilia. An excellent use of the space in the station buildings (now not used for passenger benefit!) and run entirely by volunteers. Well worth a visit even if you are not travelling on the trains.
