I'm at Becici beach right now. It's August 20. I am writing this short review. The beach is long and quite wide. It is located on the promenade with many bars and restaurants. There was no problem with parking the car. Currently, there are about 2-3 thousand people on the beach. The crowd is terrible. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas around. Renting such a set for the whole day costs 10 Euro. Until noon on the beach there was a buzz and noise from people. Now the noise was joined by very loud music from a dozen beachfront bars. Mostly club and techno music. I feel like at a disco. As for the beach, it is mostly sand and some gravel. The beach is surrounded by mountains and lots of high-rise hotels. Well, I don't really recommend this place. Unfortunately, Montenegro is not known for its beautiful beaches ;)

Great for a stroll. I went paragliding & landed here. Amazing views. I also ran along the coast to the monastery, which involved some rock climbing as there are many rocky coves, worth exploring.

Maybe it was out of season ..... but the beach was being well used by guests from multiple hotels.
Despite being in a beautiful bay and with lots of potential, the beach and promenade were in a very poor state.
A lack of maintenance in all areas, broken infrastructures and debris strewn everywhere. Broken public seating, litter strewn adjacent waste grounds, and even paving (subsidence).
It's certainly not an inviting place to relax or visit, but with some investment this could be a beautiful place !

Becici is very nice, good mix of accommodation (inc. some less nice old high rise) and bars / restaurants. Lovely gravel beach with clear water. Lots to see out & about quite nearby. Budva in next bay has a beautiful old town and lively night life. On the down side if flying to Dubrovnik the transfer time with the hard border crossing are up to 7 hours in the Summer!

Walked over to Beccicci beach a couple of days ago on orthodox Easter Sunday, and spent the afternoon in the sun (20 degrees).
A huge beachfront with sporadic coffee shops & eateries. They are obviously recovering from the 2 lost summer seasons (2020/2021) due to Covid and are getting ready for the upcoming 2022 summer season. Lots of run down businesses that didn’t survive covid and the beach could do with s good tidy up.
The sea is clean and lovely to swim in. Not our favourite beach on the Budva riviera but once it’s had a little TLC I’m sure it would go up in our estimations.

pre - summer build up so was a bit unkempt - some places along the bay were just starting up - others putting large sandbags in front of beach bars - we were told that storms , when they happen here , are very overpowering.

The sea is a good place to swim. Mostly calm and warm. There seldom was any wind. I loved it. For me a rough sea is not a holiday.

Pros: The sea was very clear and refreshing
Cons: The beach was dirty with a lot of cigarette butts. The rocky, unfinished parking area was difficult to drive on.

The beaches in Becici are surrounded by spectacular mountains and the water is a clear, deep blue, just the right temperature to be refreshing without being too cold. We traveled at the end of summer when the tourists were leaving, so space on the beaches was always available, although still fairly crowded. I believe they can be very crowded during the height of the summer vacation season. The only drawback for us was the beach itself. Reportedly, the sand is imported to cover the natural rocky Adriatic shore. However, those who are familiar with white sand beaches in other parts of the world may be disappointed by the coarse sand and gravel with pebbles that make up the beaches in Becici. The other problem is that the resorts extend the lounge chairs and umbrellas to the very edge of the water, making it impossible to do anything on the beach because there is not enough room. Even walking along the beach can be difficult. If you are not staying in one of the resort hotels with their own section of beach, the best beaches will require you to pay for the use of lounge chairs and umbrellas.

Can anybody tell me the average cost of Beer and wine in the bars?.
Jane L M
Dublin, Ireland80 contributions
You can buy a local beer for 1.50 euro.
Local wine which is very good is about 1.20 a glass, but it is probably better value to buy by the bottle or ask for a carafe of local wine."Domaci"
You can buy a litre of local good wine in the supermarket for less than 2 euro!
Like every country if you choose to buy imported wine it will be expensive.
I live here and find the quality of the local beer and wine to be very cheap and good!
