We rented bikes from this company as Hugo bikes weren't open. The company explained where we needed to ride our bikes to see different wineries and other attractions and also gave us some good discounts in certain places. Unfortunately the bikes weren't the best- mine didn't have any gears and a friends breaks were rubbish. Also we were told to... More

We were told to go to either Mr. Hugo or Orange cycles by our hostel. Unfortunately we didn't end up following this recommendation and went with the first shop we saw: Bikes and Wines. When we arrived, we opened the door and nobody was there. We said Hola!? several times before we saw a young women who was obviously the... More

Four of us rented bikes from Bikes and Wines last December. The orientation and map they provided was good, but the service was poor - they didn't have enough bikes for everybody, so several us of wound up waiting around while the guy running the shop frantically pumped up tires, replaced chains, and tried to resurrect several clunkers. Unfortunately I... More

Mendoza was great and the wines were even better. DONT USE BIKES AND WINES i rented a bike from there and my handle bars broke I ended up crashing into a barbwire fence. The guy was slow to come get me so i ended up walking for an hour back to the shop my self. I asked for my money... More

Our day with Bikes and Wines started off well - Santiago, the guy at the store was friendly, welcoming and helpful. He gave us an awesome run down of the wineries, a great list/map of places to go and a couple of cards for different discounts. Unfortunately that is where pleasantries finished, our bikes (we hired 4 of them) were... More

This was an excellent option for us as we wanted to experience many different wineries while also having fun and getting some exercise! The bikes are decent quality, perfectly fine for a days worth if biking. All the bodegas have bike stands and there are even police around who are eager to help out if needed. I would definitely recommend:... More

My husband and I rented bikes from Bikes and Wines for a half day bike tour of some wineries in Maipu. They sent a ride for us to our hostel in Mendoza who arrived pretty quickly after we called. We were given a map and a review of the wineries on the map with suggestions as well as some coupons... More

We had a great time, however decided to spend 2 hours at our first winery and then didn't make it to very many others. If you are going I would suggest you go around 10:30 so you have time to visit a few wineries. Bikes were ok, service was good.

I went on this Bikes & Wines bike tour with a friend during our visit to Mendoza, after having heard some funny stories from some of our travelers. I work for a fun local travel company in Buenos Aires, so lucky for me I get to do this stuff all the time! One piece of advice that you shouldn't forget…make... More
