Wonderful experience from beginning to end. From the initial contact to the very last day the service and communication was excellent. We wanted to change an excursion and within 30 minutes all was taken care of even though our contact person was out of the office. The transportation from the airport and back was excellent. They had several people waiting... More

Pacific Trade Winds was recommended by a friend and they may have changed my whole perception of travel agencies. My wife and I have traveled much of the world, but have always planned our trips on our own. This was our first experience with such an agency to help us with hotels, tours, and restaurants. We could not be more... More

We have never had someone plan a vacation for us. We are from Georgia, traveling with a couple from Vermont and Arizona. Matt at PTW, as well as everyone else we dealt with were outstanding. The trip was perfect in everyway. Transportation-timely and very comfortable. Everyone we encountered spoke perfect English. The resorts were amazing. The excursions were great, especially the... Pacific Tradewinds did an excellent job assisting us in planning our trip and was instrumental on the ground. All of the drivers they arranged were on time, polite and the vans were clean. They scheduled us for the canopy tour to Hacienda Guachepelin and a caving and hiking in Barra Honda. Both were very enjoyable. The canopy tour in Guachepelin... More

Our experience with Pacific Trade Winds as our travel agent/trip coordinator was literally without fault. We had never been to Costa Rica before and were reliant on their good advice as to where to go and what to see. We could not have been better served in this regard. PTW provided us with a very convenient and reasonable payment plan,... More

Pacific Trade Winds gives excellent customer service and plans out your vacation perfectly. Everything was provided from friendly, English-speaking drivers to and from every destination, to friendly, knowledgeable English-speaking tour guides. The hotels were clean and beautiful. The activities were fun, and there was plenty of down time to use for relaxation, or to schedule more activities. I never had... More

We just returned from our "bucket list" trip to Costa Rica. It was beyond our expectations. Matt Casseday did an excellent job with scheduling a perfect vacation. Every pick up, every excursion, every hotel was even more than we expected. It all went so smoothly. We didn't have to worry about the details, Matt took care of them all. I... More

I found the Pacific Trade winds experience perfect. For a first time visitor, they offered a reasonable questionnaire to establish our priorities and were able to make changes when our dates unexpectedly had to be changed. Overall, the quality of the transfers was 100% perfect, much better than what I had expected from other travels in South America. The excursions/attractions... More

Thanks for the feedback and the recommendation. Sometimes our travelers have long wish-lists and shorter stays than it can all be done in, so often free days are just one or two in each area, in order to give you plenty of time to enjoy the gamut of activities available. But that is always able to be customized to each... More

Hi guys, I haven't taken my vacation yet but thus far they have been great and worthy of a review.. We had to do a reschedule and they allowed use to do this. Thank you for taking the time to review your experience so far. We are happy to hear that you have enjoyed the services we have provided. We have reviewed all of our correspondences with you, and there appears to be confusion as you were provided with many alternative options for hotels in the same area as well as different destinations... We just returned home from a 16-day stay in Costa Rica. It was our very first trip and we used Pacific Trade Winds on the recommendation of close friends who used them two years ago. It was the best decision we could have ever made. We knew the places we wanted to see but didn't know where to stay or... More

Costa Rica is a small country, but a number of things to see and do is so vast that planning a vacation here can be daunting. The windy mountain roads make things seem closer together than they are, and planning logistics a bit complicated. That's why Pacific Trade Winds is the best choice for first-time visitors...then the ease of the... More
