Very creepy place especially in the afternoon when it gets cloudy and misty. Can feel very humid and wet. Near the entrance there’s a cafeteria but you’ll need basic Spanish to order anything

Almost half way between San Sebastian and Valle Gran Rey, this small clearing in the laurisilva forest with its cafe, toilet block and visitor centre make an ideal place to stop and spend a while. Many trails leave from here in different directions making for a great variety of different walks. There is ample free parking for cars, or easy access by public bus from San Sebastian or Valle Gran Rey. It can be very full at weekends or public holidays, but at other times the lovely atmosphere of the laurisilva forest all around prevails.

Just returned from a tour of La Gomera, whilst holidaying on Thomson Majesty, The island is an amazing well kept secret of the Canaries, such diverse and dramatic scenery. Parts of the island could be mistaken for the Caribean if it was'nt for the volcanic sand and other areas resemble the med. Lovely friendly people, an ideal place to go walkking as long as you have good walking boots.Would definitely go back again.

A good place to start your walks in the national park. In the information centre, they inform you very well. The bar and toilets are nice and clean, so a good place for a stop...

What a beautiful Canary island this is. Beautiful scenic routs and a small rain forest in the north whilst the south basks in the sun. San Sebastian the capital is small but friendly although a little tired. We took a trip for €47 each for a full day excursion with 3 course lunch and guide/coach. Well worth the money and very interesting about their communication by whistling!!! Loved it!!

Amazing like a dream. Fog, smells, looks, just being there. Everything is making you relaxed and happy.
Great restaurant too. But it is cold up there. Dress well.

Well if you like to travel far too get to like the islands only flat field this is the place. But if you expect to find a nice blue lake (like the name indicates) then this is the biggest fail of the week.

In this cool area of high humidity there is luscious intense greenery to observe on a path going up to Alto de Garajonay.

Lovely walk from the visitor centre. Shaded and cool under the tree canopy.

We did walk 6 and 3.

Walk 6 started quite steeply down hill and then a gradual climb back up the valley in and amongst the regenerating forest. Interesting to see where the fire affected the area in 2012.

Walk three was a little loop in the ancient woodland. Very picturesque as the trees are covered in lichen like seen in all the brochures. Was truest enchanting. One point to note: country to signage, this was is NOT accessibility friendly. There are lots of steps.

Good facilities with clean toilets and a nice cafe. Good play area for children.
