This vineyard is just minutes away from the city. It is small so it makes for a great relaxing early afternoon activity. The owners are very welcoming and take the time to answer questions and are very hospitable to their guests. After a walk around the vineyard you are invited to do some wine tasting. For me the red wine was just to my taste especially since it was chilled- just the way i like it. My husband preferred the white which was light and subtle like a pinot. We were lucky enough to buy a bottle of the homemade limoncello which is amazing. The whole establishment has a very warm and welcoming feel. It is simple but decorated with flair. All in all it was a pleasant escape from city life in just minutes.

Jan and his vineyard offer a delightful escape from the busyness of Amsterdam (or in our case, the busyness of our nearby office)! Jan provided a group of 10 of us with a relaxed but informative tour of the vineyard, sharing his history and the story of wine making in the Netherlands. We were offered tastings of four different wines (a bubbly rose, two whites and a red), and we also enjoyed a great cheese and charcuterie platter.
The setting is lovely. While you sample wine in the garden and look out at the vineyard, it's hard to believe you're just a few kilometers outside of Amsterdam! I would definitely recommend a visit to the vineyard for a wonderful change of scenery and the chance to sample Dutch wines! Best to come by bike, but there is also a nearby bus line (less than a 10 minute walk away) if you don't want to drive.

Incredible to have such a nice and charming winery in Amsterdam (Amstelveen). They make really interesting wines and the owners are very kind and inviting, besides being very entrepeneurial.
Can definitely recommend a visit here.

On the edge of the countryside in Amstelveen there is this lovely small vineyard and winery. You can stroll through the vines, sample their wine and learn about Dutch wine. The wine is good too! They also sell wines from several other Dutch producers.
A must visit.

Hidden secret! Vineyard in the neighbourhood of Amsterdam! Nude tour where the owner explained the young history of his property. Both rosé and white wine from the vineyard. We had a party in the garden, with a deejay inside. Nice surroundings, bike ride from Amsterdam for the die hard.

I came and got a tour with the students I teach from the US that are doing a semester abroad. I teach them a course at on public health in the Netherlands. During the tour, the students learned about the day center and daytime activities available for seniors on the vineyard. We also got a complete and thorough tour of the vineyard and wine making facilites from Jan and even got to sample some wine at the end which was delicious! At the end, the students also got an inspiring and motivational talk from Jan to never give up on their dreams. All in all, it was a wonderful, educational and inspiring visit in a unique spot in Amstelveen!
