Horrible. This place serving as a goat farm for children also serves meat products (little goat meat) . Very hypocrite and sad! Wouldnt recommend this place for children.

After a nice walk you can chill while the kids play on the playground surrounded by goats and small farm animals. You can have goat milk icecream or cheese or have coffeee at the nearby restaurant if you prefer non goat milk food or drink.

This (children’s) farm house is located in the middle of the ‘forest’. It can be visited by bicycle or by car. A few meters way from the farm there is a small car park, and a much bigger one is located a little further away. The farm is relatively big, as far as children are concerned. Many animals including chicken, goats, horses, pigs, etc. Children pick up chicken eggs (i.e. buy & take home!), feed milk to goats, or watch the farmer milking the goats. There is a sizable playground as well. In the weekends and holidays (with a bit sunny weather) it can be quite overcrowded. There is a very nice restaurant, serving organic food, but it is a kind of expensive (a kid and a couple can easily spend 25 euro for a small lunch!). However, it may not be surprising for most because this farm appears to be geared towards a bit of upper middle-class Dutch folks.
One thing we really disliked was: In the children’s playground, two Dutch blonde ladies were puffing cigarettes like a lizard, in front of dozens of children, and yet they looked so proud of their enjoyment. Worse, part of it all, no one said anything to them. In fact, our friends also told us that they encountered people smoking in the playground as well. It’s a bit of shame.

We spent a full Sunday afternoon here. We came on bikes, which in itself was a great experience. The kids played in the playground, bottled the young goats and brushed the goats. Then we spent a short half hour in the maze before we went for a goat’s milk ice cream for the kids and a lovely fresh mint tea for me. We had a really nice afternoon. On the way back we even cycled through the blossom park in the Amsterdam Forest, full in blossom at this time of year!

Our kids loved this little farm so much that we had to visit twice in the week we were in Holland! Not only was it free to enter, it wasnt overly touristy and the kids learnt alot whilst we were there. The playground was excellent and there were noce clean toilet facilities too. The goats were sweet if not a little tired of milk bottles being shoved in front of their faces! The pigs were my favorite and id quite willingly have take one home! Our daughter loved the cows too. We ate the delicious goat milk ice cream and took so of the goats cheese home with us. A place worthy of a visit if you have children with you.

The goatfarm is really great. There are hundrets of goats, some pigs, 2 cows, 2 horses and many chicken. The children can go in the compounds and stroke the animals. There are also many different playgrounds. The farm has a café where you can eat meals but also cake or homemade icecream out of the goat milk. There is also a shop with milk, cheese and other things from the farm. You don't pay entry for the farm. We passed a great day there!

On a Sunday autumn afternoon, we headed for the Amsterdam Forest and visited this wonderful place. Of course there was some fun in the playground, but the main attraction were the goats. You can cuddle, feed them milk or watch when they get milked. Kids are invited to help, like our 5-year-old, who was asked to operate the bridge the goats cross from the pen to the milking bay.
You can also buy products from the organic farm, like goat's cheese, or have a drink and a bite in the restaurant. We opted for the typically dutch poffertjes. They were awesome.
Feeding the goats milk can be a bit of a quest, especially at the end of the day, as it seemed that most had had enough already. Still, it was a lot of fun.
