Here, you dont have the impression that the animals are suffering. Enclosures are large. It is quiet a walk for visitors. You can also see animals, which are rarely in the zoos, such as hippos, anteaters, cheetas etc.

We visited the zoo on a thursday in April 2017. We expected a little zoo with some quite unspectacular animals in the middle of nowhere, because around the zoo there is just a chateau to visit but nothing else. BUT: As we arrived there we...More

Went with our 18 month old on the day that schools in France restarted.... Result? Zoo pretty much to ourselves, and an amazing time! Car park is huge, so guess this place could get pretty busy in peak times, but was great for us. Quite...More

As with all French zoos an easy route around the zoo exists. Facilities were clean although not 'plentiful'. Plenty of shade and trees to hide under when the sun shines and numerous places to fill up a water bottle. Wide selection of animals and exhibits...More

This is a nice zoo, not too big, but it seems to be well kept. The walk through the zoo is very nice, and there are plenty of tables and benches for picknick. Some peacocks roam around the zoo freely, among which a beautiful white...More

Easy to find near amazing chateau with plenty of free parking. Reasonably priced 50 euros for 4 but lack of amazing exhibits. Lots of cattle/goats etc but feel they could have done more with the cat enclosures and more exotic zoo exhibits. That said, it's...More
