Pure fun and a phantastic view

The Tréport funiculaire is pure fun and it delivers a phantastic view of seaside Tréport and Mers-les-Bains. It is also free so you can take as many rides as you want.

The view from top is amazing, to the town, the harbor and the beach. Wit the cabins you get up there in no time, and then you can go back on foot.

When staying in Le Treport I always take the company to the Funiculaire. Fun factor guaranteed and great view from the top as an added benefit.

Well worth a trip and it's free. Takes you to top of cliffs, where there is a very nice walk along the top.

A superb and free way to get from the town to the top of the cliffs. Four carriages working independently and only taking a few minutes.

Where in the world do you get a free ride in a funicular lift ? Only right here at Le Treport in France. 2ndly, you get to operate it yourself : Press Monter to go up or Descendre to go down. The lift can probably fit about 8 people and the lift ride takes only a few seconds. 3rdly, you... More

A bit reluctant to take it because of the very cloudy and rainy weather. In better circumstances, the view is likely stunning. But the best is that this major attraction is for free. Also a good hint to visit Le Tréport - just park your car for free close to the upper end of the Funiculaire.

Picked up on this after searching for things to do near our gite. We parked at the top (just follow the signs when you get near the town its very easy to find). Cost just over 2 euros to park but lots of spaces even in august. Enjoyed the views at the top and had a picnic before taking the... More

Guides & map also provided. Toilets at the top of the Feniculaire are free of charge as well as the attraction itself. If you take the steps... More
