It is a monument to commemorate the production of billion barrels of oil in Brunei. Being a country with most of the revenue being generated from oil, it is something which people may relate to. However, it doesn't look like it is being maintained well. Some of the hangings missing, graffiti, litter lying around the complex - all of these... More

Nice structure representing Brunei achievement of export of One billion barrels. Close to sea beach. you can also see the first (historical) nodding donkey kept as monument...with live nodding donkeys nearby

It is actually not much to see. The monument might seem impressive just because there is nothing around it and in general there are not many great attractions in Brunei. If you are close to the area, it`s worthing going to see it, but driving more than 5 minutes to it is a waste of time.

Brunei was such a pleasant country to visit with a number of really interesting attractions spread out across the country, from Muara in the north to Seria in the south. Once you've seen the rainforest and forest museum, seen the ocean beaches and inland lake, well then it's time to see what made Brunei so wealthy and prosperous: the Billionth... More

Truth to be told. I would not expect this would be a local and tourist attraction for Pokemon Go. There are 3 pokestop and one gym in this area. Normally this area is a jogging spot (from OGDC to here and vice versa). It is also a monumental area where it commemorates the production of the billionth barrel of oil... More

There are 3 pokestops and 1 pokegym, there is also many pokemon trainers there. Other than that, Billionth Barrel Monument is a great place to jog and for leisure purposes. Its a great getaway from the hot weather since it also has strong winds as the attraction is located near the sea shore.

If you're there for the sunset, it's probably worth a trip. I was not, and so, my experience was one where I would have rather found something else - something closer to where I was - to see.
