It’s on the way to kodai, a worth place for a group Pic. It’s the overflow water from the kodaikanal lake, so around the year this falls won’t be dry. Better don’t try to play with the water from this falls, its believed to be contaminated with mercury pollution.

The sheer force of the water makes you respect and admire these waterfalls as if commanding respect with all that sound and force of water.

Eat the bread omlette n taste the coffee here beside the silver cascade falls...must stop and try. Even the bajis are hot and made fresh...beware of monkeys..they steal ur banana bajis. The waterfall was blissful and gave a very strong energy and positive feeling.

I had been there in October 2018 , water was less in falls . Nice photogenic place , after long drive one can take some relaxation here . Lots of temporary food stall vendor are there . Less than 30 min is sufficient enough for this place . This is in the entry point of kodaikanal town , just after toll plaza. Water rolls down 150 feet downhill and falls in deep nullah on the other side of the road . Other than taking photos , no other thing can be done here. So so place .

Silver Cascade Falls is located on Madurai Kodaikanal Road and is very near to Kodaikanal. You can see a stunning view of water thrashing down from about 200 feet right into the ground. There were fruit sellers on both sides of the road. You can park the vehicle at road side ,but always traffic conjuction is there.

Not the right season as there was very little water flowing. However I understand this is enroute the town and probably a good destination for a quick relaxation from the exhaustive drive

This waterfall is supposedly formed by the overflow of the Kodaikanal Lake. Nothing much to look at. There are a lot of vendors selling souvenirs, fruits, nuts and chocolates nearby. And monkeys that pick food out of the trash cans.

This waterfall is on the way and if you are travelling by your own car you can stop by for some time and enjoy the clean water fall.

However surroundings are not so clean and lot of garbage thrown around by people
