Great area to visit with lovely weather

Casablanca is very close to Santiago and a great place to stop on the way to the coast. Wineries are doing an excellent job in an up and coming area of the country.

We took a bicycle tour through the Kingston winery - the valley was absolutely beautiful and our guide knew so much about the history of the local wineries and the valley itself. It was a great day and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the local vineyards and all of their splendor close up.

We only had a couple hours available to visit the valley. We loved the location in the mountains & the fabulous wines. We hope to return with more time, someday.

The valley is pretty for pictures and easy drives though you need to make appointments for wineries. Wine is not produced in Casablanca but grapes are. If you come earlier in the day, the fog makes it look more beautiful. You do not need any help to see around. Its worth tasting the wine here since its unique as other... More

We were staying in Valparaiso and decided to visit some wineries in the Casablanca Valley independently. It was quite easy to do and a lot cheaper than an organised tour. Catch a cab to the bus station in Valparaiso. Different bus companies have Casablanca as a destination, we paid 1.200 pesos ($2.50 AUD) each with Bus Casablanca. Arrive in the... More

The finest wines and liquors were at Bottega Re Vineyard. Equally wonderful wine and tour was at loma larga vineyard, the best and phenomenal food at Quintay Vineyard

We toured it when the grapevines had changed color so you could see at a distance what some of the grapes were due to the color. Primarily a white wine growing area but some wineries are trying some reds. Interesting valley history we got from a tour guide (Uncorked Wine tours was excellent). This valley was not originally thought to... More

An interesting area to visit because they make wine and a lot of it despite the freezing temperatures. While I enjoyed going to the wineries (my favorite is called Catrala) I found the story of how the valley was developed and how they used technology to grow grapes in freezing temperatures fascinating. I tried white and red wines and I... More

There are only about 20 vineyards in the Casablanca Valley and it seems that they are not corrupt or spoiled yet. It's a two wineries we visited everyone was kind and not pushy. Enjoyed the town of Casablanca and the two vineyards due to gentle and not pushy staff.
