I've lived in the area for 5+ years and still haven't visited all the wonderful wineries in this valley. For a day trip from Santiago or Viña/Valpo, I recommend scheduling two wineries. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. In between, have lunch at a nice restaurant in the valley. I like to choose one large, more commercial vineyard for one visit, and then a smaller, boutique winery for the second. It makes for a nice balance.

The Casablanca Valley is full of Chilean vineyards. Some large some small. Get a driver and go to 3-4 and enjoy the great wines, for us the whites.

Casablanca Valley is a short drive away from Santiago. It offers some spectacular views of the valley with several vineyards. It was awesome to visit one of the vineyards and learn about the same and the valley. Certainly would very highly recommend visiting Casablanca Valley to any tourist.

The grounds of this winery are exquisite, and our tour was very well done and interesting, led by Carolina. We learned about the different types of grapes and wine, how they were processed and stored the wine in different types of barrels followed by a group wine tasting.

On our way to Santiago from Viña del Mar, we drove through the Casablanca Valley. The sage & arid mountains contrast with the greenery of the valley and ordered rows of the winery. A great drive for the views, the stop at the Casa del Bosque Estate was the highlight. Fantastic attention to detail in every aspect - down to staining the middle stave of their aging barrels for the aesthetics. Excellent guide with clear explanations, in depth knowledge and no attitude to grate against our casual approach to wine. Another couple on the tour from Australia were very well informed on wine and enjoyed it even more. Beautiful, informative and entertaining!

Escape the bustle of the city and enjoy the spectacular scenery and excellent wines. It's well worth the detour if you're en route to Valpo

We drove ourselves from Santiago and toured 4 wineries, with tasting at 3. A lovely trip and some very nice wine.

Spent several days here on our way to Valparisio. Very comfortable. Although wine tastings/tours can be expensive (several wineries will charge by the glass),, there are quite a few wineries to visit. And many offer nice restaurants. This area reminds us very much of Napa Valley before it was so developed. Very good wines.

Casa Mirador is definitely a place you have to stop by. Eat, drink; drink it! Look at the cuisine design and accuracy! Look carefully how the pairing enhance your palate and raises your desire for more adventures. The architecture and wine cellars are all part of the art of well drinking and dreaming. Just let yourself be possessed by the god of wine, let your spirit be free and forget all... ha, it must be said: it’s not cheap, but oh well...
