The palace is up the mountain and you need to drive to get there. But once you start approaching the palace entrance you see sakura trees along both hill side and is quite a different scene. It’s really worthwhile to take your time to walk around and enjoy not just the sakura but the great view of surrounds nature as well as the temple within.
