The Wild Boar of Mania is another trash artwork by Yodogawa Technique. It is made using waste collected from the Maniwa city, Okayama prefecture, located in the middle of mountains (The fish is, in contrast, made of trash in the sea). The boa is colorful and inspiring. It is displayed near the information center not right next to the fish and is planned to be displayed by the end of the autumn season of Setouchi triennale 2019.

There are actually 2 fish here, one that's the classic and another you can climb inside. No fees, just sculpture telling a story of plastics in Japan :(

Loved these sculptures... made from recycled materials. Bright , colourful and makes one think of how much garbage we create from our consumerist life!

If you're in Uno Port (likely you will be if you're going to / from the Setouchi International Art Festival, aka the Setouchi Triennale) , stop by and check out this piece made by the two Japanese artists that make up Yodogawa Technique. The art is public, and free to view.
