車で訪問です。駐車場が無料で利用できます。
天ヶ瀬駅からもすぐです。
混浴露天温泉ということで、ちょっとわくわくしながら行ってみましたが、豪雨とコロナの影響か誰もいなかったので初めて混浴露天温泉というものを利用してみました。
ゆったりと雪がちらつく中で源泉かけ流し白濁湯の露天温泉を満喫できました。
入浴料は１００円です。
天ヶ瀬駅からもすぐです。

天ケ瀬温泉の共同浴場のひとつ。天ケ瀬駅からすぐで、川を見ながらで気持ちがよい。天ケ瀬温泉の共同浴場５つはそれぞれ泉質が異なり、ここは硫黄分が多く、白濁していてじっくり湯に漬かれる温度で温泉気分満喫。
混浴だが脱衣スペースが丸見えなので女性にはハードルが高い。

温泉県大分の三大温泉の天ケ瀬温泉は、玖珠川の川床（河岸）にある共同露天風呂の混浴温泉が、５個あり、左岸に４個。いづれも住民も観光客も利用している。
昨年から、神田の湯、薬師湯の２個は、湯あみ着やバスタオル、トランクスでも入浴できるようになった。
ただ、この駅前温泉は、着用不可。入浴料１００円、更衣室やロッカーはない。
川湯は、いづれも面前に玖珠川の本流が流れ、谷合の風景を楽しみながら、夏には目のまえで、鮎釣り師の釣りを見ながら入浴となる異空間。
日田市内からの夜の帰りで、遅くまで気楽に入浴できるので、寄った。
夜で、４ｍX１．５ｍの細長い浴槽には、淡い灰乳色で、透明感はなく、湯元は、浴槽の底からパイプで引かれているので見えない。
ちょうど良い４１度前後の温度で、景色は見えないが、川のせせらぎ以上の音を聞きながら、ゆっくりできた。
ただ、防寒のためか、洗い場の周囲には、緑の横断ビニール幕があったのが、
残念。入浴中いは、景観が限定されそう。４月からは、不要でしょう。
