The view of Amanohashidate from the hill top is a gorgeous spectacle of nature and walking through it on the pathway, well-maintained and safe, is wonderful.

Don't know why the Japanese name it as one of the three best scenic views in Japan or why the Japanese think it is a bridge over the sky. It does not look special to me at all, particularly considering the travelling time to Amanohashidate....More

Made a day trip from Kyoto by coach tour( ¥5600, advance booking required on the web). Personally I think the coach tour is the least expensive and time-saving way to be there.(2 hours from Kyoto) My stay was for 6 hours and I enjoyed too...More

I love the view and the cable car experience was unforgettable! There was snowing at the time if my visit. But the sky was blue and the view was just stunning! Luckily i chose to go up by cable car! Lovely
