ナイター設備を完備した球場で、県内でも規模は大きめだと思います。楽天イーグルスの野球教室も行われています。

北東北大学野球春季リーグ戦の観戦の為訪れました。近年、数多くのプロ野球選手を輩出しているリーグ（山川、多和田、外崎、小野、秋山翔吾、細川、高橋優貴など）未来のスター選手を間近に見る事が出来ました。
小高い丘にあり、葡萄棚などが間近あり実にのどかな雰囲気です。椅子席がバックネット裏のみ、内野席は芝生です。近くに飲食店は無く、飲料の自動販売機のみ、大迫町内のコンビニ等で購入して持ち込むことをオススメします。
