Went all the way there only to find that it's closed for winter break :( Luckily there was a nearby non-flying Dango shop that was open to somehow makeup for it.

My friend told me about the Kakko Dango and how you can get sweet treats and hot tea sent over the gorge in a basket. The guys at the café could see I was caucasion and thought that I was American.
