For 5 euro You get to go to the top. The view is amazing and it's not super busy with tourists which is nice. Take some time to enjoy the scenery.

This was as recommend to us by a local to be the first stop before heading into the city of Lisbon. It was a little hard to find, as there were almost no signs pointing us in the right directon but in the end we made it and there is a lot of parking right by it. By paying a... More

this is a clean tidy polished example of a tourist site, to be honest, I was surprised how quite it was, you have to take the ferry from Lisbon which is lovely on a hot day, then a bus takes you to the monument via the back streets of Almada , when you get there it looks a little run... More

An amazing structure with a fantastic view of Lisbon and the river and the hills around. Must climb the stairs in the statue for the best view

An imposing monument and visiting card of the city of Almada. Breathtaking view. lack information on how to get there without a car. The price is somewhat high.

If you visit Lisbon making a tour to the Cristo Rei is a must. Starting from Cacilhas it's easy to get there by bus (no. 101). A ticket including return costs you 2,00 €. It's quite impressive how big the statue is. You have a stunning view from the top platform. We paid 5,00 € for going up by elevator... More

I visited this religious monument as the very presence of it on the side of the Lisbon bridge really draws you in. You can go a,most to the top in a lift for 5€ and once there the view of Lisbon and through 360 degrees is breathtaking. A fantastic monument to mans belief and one to be visited and respected.

We took ferry from Cais do Sodre to Cacilhas, then 101 bus to there. This 92 ft. tall figure of Christ, mounted on a 269 ft. pedestal. You can see the statue from various viewpoints in the City. It is fun to take the ferry, got different experience and view point. From the top of the pedestal, you can get... More
