Love going for a walk by myself around the reserve. Nice people in the shops. Great to see the wildlife, especially an occasional deer

Nice day out with bird watching lots of different birds and Canadian geese , ducks , the tweets of nesting birds , small tea room / gift room so something for everybody nice walk and and Hides so as to view and avoid disturbing birds

Choose from the Visitor Centre or the Fishing Lodge [with nice cafe] to start your walk. Both have excellent car parking and are separated by a half hour walk through woodlands, skirting both fields and Hanningfield Reservoir. Especially good for bluebells in spring. Very pleasant...More

love this place, great walks and love the wildlife, if you get there early you may see the munjacs before it gets to busy and they have hides if you are into bird watching.
