The building is a lovely one to see, with a lovely well-maintained facade, and fits in nicely as part of a self-guided heritage trail that you can take to merge all of the attractions into a nice little walk across the city.

Interesting to see. The building is very old and lots to see, so take some time to enjoy it all. Pity we had to walk in through the back way as you lose the grandness of seeing the building from the front. There is no entry fee.

This is a very well curated and well maintained museum on, generally, the history of Selangor, through narrating the history of it's royal family. Although the protagonist of the gallery is his late royal highness Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, all his predecessors and the current ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (Sultan Salahuddin's son) are also given equal treatment.

My wife and I took our two girls there. Entrance was free but even if they charged an entrance fee it is worth a visit.

It houses lots of historic artifices which are all described both in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

The building itself is also historic and well maintained and its staff are all very friendly.

If there is anything that could be improved it would be to produce a souvenir guide that people could purchase containing photos of the exhibits along with a description of their history.

A free walk-in museum, people who drive car also park free there. just two storeys high but what catches my eyes is the building structure itself. As a Malaysian, culture mixed is very common but it is rare when it comes to old colonial building with some Chinese statues on the ground floor in the middle of the whole. Two lion statues usually are put outside to welcome guest and scare out some unpleasant people. The only disappointment might be the cleanliness of toilet but somehow for me, it is fair enough to walk in free but gets this kind of standard.Souvenirs are not recommended for Malaysian but foreigners choose wisely, most of the things can be bought in Petaling Street at Kuala Lumpur.

Despite being located in a busy area notorious for lack of parking, the actual museum has sufficient parking. This place is never crowded. It is free and reasonably comfortable. This is well-curated with some beautiful exhibits.

Visited Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery years after its opening to public. What to expect from this place:

What's impressive:
- The museum is an old colonial building built in 1909 which was left behind by the former British empire. Still well maintained and stands out in the old section of Klang.
- Lots of old artifacts inside the museum which brings you through the course of history of the Selangor state and its Royal Sultanate.

What to expect:
- The museum is rather small, but it's good enough to cover much of the history in the city & state.
- There's a small gift shop if you keep to hunt for some souvenirs.

What can be improved:
- Perhaps can consider expanding the museum to include more artifacts in the future. (The rear section of the building is left unused, may consider expanding it for other artifacts / exhibits).

Final verdict:
- Attractions: Well kept artifacts of the Royal Sultanate of Selangor inside the Museum. Certainly a place not to be missed if you happen to stop by in Klang.
- Structures: Well maintained.
- Cleanliness: Very clean.
- Food: Nil, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance.
- Staff: Didn't come into contact with any (apart from the few at the entrance). Seemed helpful though.
- Value: Entrance is free.
- Time: Recommended to spend between 1 - 2 hours.
- Likelihood to revisit: Yes.
