This street is definitely for the influx of tourists, so take the time to check out each store before you purchase, since many of the shops sell similar or the same items. Case in point, I was looking for "Japanese"socks to be worn with flip...More

Many old buildings and shops, Restaurants, Hotels. This is a great town to just hang out in. A favorite tourist attraction with something for everyone. Good for the entire family. You could spend more than a day here easily.

This traditional shopping arcades is a must to visit either you are hungry or in a shopping mood for souvenirs. You should spend 1 hour at least to taste the delicacies of Miyajima, and half hour for browsing the traditional markets.

Plenty of wares on display, just waiting for you to snap up. No one presses you for a sale which is very different to some parts of the world.

Street with many nice souvenir shops and street food. Don’t forget to try Momiji manju, it’s very tasty! Many shops selling grilled oysters too. The shops close pretty early, between 4-5pm.

Technically this is a shopping and food street but I would say 90% are F&b shops. You have restaurants to street food to snacks. Be prepared to eat from one end of the street to the other end.

Bought some souvenirs here and loved the engraved chopsticks! There were many stalls selling grilled fresh oysters and also many restaurants along the street. Nice place.
