大好きな日本酒のひとつ 『亀齢酒造』さんの酒蔵に行ってきました。趣のある建物でした。残念ながら12時〜13時まで物販の販売がお休みでした。それ以外の時間に行くのがおすすめです。

７つの酒蔵が建ち並ぶ西条の酒蔵通り。その中間あたりの道路沿いに、亀齢酒造がありました。
こちらの「亀齢」というお酒は、長寿と繁栄の願いが込められたネーミングなんだとか。敷地内には、こちらの蔵の直売所「万年亀舎（まねきや）」があり、試飲できるんですよ。

西条の酒蔵通りを東に向かって進んで行くと、右手に、「くぐり門」という独特の形をした建物がありました。ここには観光案内所が入っていますが、その向かい側にあったのが、亀齢酒造です。
この亀齢酒造前にも、万年亀（まねき）井戸という古い井戸が残されていました。この万年亀井戸の名前を付けられていたのが、亀齢酒造の直販所です。名前は、「万年亀舎」（まねきや）と言うんです。お酒はもちろんですが、酒かす石鹸などのオリジナルグッズも豊富でした。

酒蔵地区の中心部でくぐり門の近くでした。試飲はできるようになっていました。アイスクリームもありました。名前に亀がはいっているので、亀がはいったかわいらしいグッズも多数ありました。

西条駅からほんの少しばかり歩いた距離のところにある酒蔵が立ち並んだエリアにこの酒造メーカーはありました。以前広島市内の料理店で食事をした際に勧められて、印象に残っていることから、ここを訪れてみました。その印象通り、素晴らしい酒蔵の様に思いました。

西条の酒蔵巡りでほぼ真ん中にあるのが亀齢酒造です。お酒だけでなくアイスクリームや石鹸などお酒に関連した商品や酒蔵所のグッズが売られています。限定発売のお酒は行かないと手に入らない商品です。

西条駅から徒歩7、8分程度。
隣には白牡丹や賀茂鶴酒造が酒蔵を構えます。試飲コーナーでは好みのお酒を試飲させてくれます。
純米はすっきり、鼻から香りが抜けていく感じでした。シャツやカバンなどの物販コーナーが充実していました。

酒蔵を見つけて、せっかくなら直売所で日本酒を買いたいと思い立ち寄りました。観光案内所があったので、マップをもらい1番近くの亀齢酒造に向かいました。車だったので、試飲できませんでしたが、辛口で有名な酒造のようでした。日本酒以外にもアイスからオリジナルグッズまで色々な商品がありました。営業時間が、16:00までなので、訪れる際には気にしておいた方がよさそうです。

会社の敷地内にある土産物店「万年亀舎」は「まねきや」と呼びます。ここでもお酒の試飲販売をしているのですが、運転中なのでそれは不可。そのかわり酒粕を使ったアイスクリームを購入。他にも、酒粕をまぶした豆菓子、酒で練った麺、酒粕を練り込んだ石鹸、酒器、前掛けなどの酒造グッズを各種販売しています。

ここでしか購入できないお酒があります。是非、亀齢のお酒が好きな方、また、お酒が好きな方は購入されると良いと思います。試飲も気軽にでき、良いです。
