There are not too many things to see in the visitor center comparing to other visitor center in Japan. I would prefer to spend more time with the rabbits there instead of going to the visitor center.

Okunoshima Island Visitor Center is very close by to other attractions such as the light house and shrine. It's worth visiting as it's free and you will learn about the island & animals here.

There are some informative displays, but nothing I found exciting. Its free, so worth a stop in. There's a model of the island, and some craft displays.

A side trip from our stay in Hiroshima and took about 1.5 hours to get to the destination by shinkansen, local train and ferry. Was very peaceful and not many tourists on the island. There are bikes to hire and the rabbits are absolutely adorable...More
