The views, up Mount Komagatake and down into Lake Tazawa appeared and disappeared through the clouds and snow. With a wood fire and tasty food, fast lifts, and plenty of snow we had a great time at Tazawako Ski Resort for not much money.

if you ski here, i think you'd enjoy staying at one of the nearby onsen hotels, the onsen water is very good and pungent and milky. need a car though plus onsens are not cheap
