Visited Tunnel Creek as part of a Kimberleys trip . The tunnel creek walk is good fun, not to challenging , about 1klm in length and fun walking through the water only guided by our torches. If your in the area , it's worth the...More

Tunnel Creek is one of those surprises that keeps ln getting better. Behind the rocks are chasms of dark cliffs and cool waters and even a calcified limestone falls about 3 meters long only spotted by the cascading water and the torches needed to find...More

What an enjoyable experience descending into a large cave system, unguided and without commercial lighting! This was Pigeon's hideout and it was fascinating to look up to all the places he might have hidden to elude the chasing police! He was a clever man. You'll...More

As the hideout of famous Aboriginal resistance fighter, Jandamarra, this place seems to have a certain presence. Tunnel Creek is very cool and dark (bring a torch) and you'll probably have to wade through water in places. Can be a bit tricky to climb over...More

A must visit place. Walk through the tunnel, through parts of the river with small fresh water crocs hiding in the water. It was a very good morning spent here.

34 outside a lovely cool 20 inside the tunnel. It is a little bit of a clamber to get over the rock fall at the mouth of the tunnel so wear shoes. Depending on the time of year you will need to walk through water...More
