We are Scotland's largest birds of prey centre. There are over 70 birds to see and fantastic flying displays every day. Our birds include eagles, falcons, owls, hawks, vultures and parrots. We are open from 10am till 5pm and the displays are at 12 noon and 3pm daily. The centre is open 7 days a week all year round. We do experiences where you can handle and fly the birds (booking required). Come and sample our home cooking at The Cabin Cafe.

Came across World of Wings by chance while on holiday and I'm so glad we did. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the flying display was superb with the chance to see the birds up close. The handlers were great and very informative and the birds looked healthy and well cared for.

Set in deepest darkest Cumbernauld this is a great family attraction. It takes up a good three hours and the birds look magnificent in their cages. The highlight is undoubtedly the flying display (3pm in my case) You get real up close to these magnificent creatures. Friendly knowledgeable staff hep enhance the experience.

My wife and I have just returned home best way to describe the experience is read the other reviews because it was a day where you are learning, and enjoying yourself at the same time. The flying demo gives you an up close thrill and the handling experience shows how well the birds are looked after by the handlers and staff.... More

This place is so good. Any age group would enjoy a visit to World of Wings. From seeing birds close up in aviaries to the brilliant displays that are out on there is something for everyone. We went for the two hour experience so also got to take part in handling the birds when they were out for flight. There... More

Visited today from a Groupon offer and it was great value for money. The display of birds on the location, the flying display, the hands on with the birds was a great very enjoyable day out. The cafe was a godsend with a warm plate of soup on this cold day.

As a keen bird watcher myself and my husband tend to not visit places like World of Birds, but as it is local and a bird of prey centre we wanted to give it a go. Upon arriving you can't help but notice how clean and spacious the venue is, once inside the reception area we were greeted by a... More

Very educational and interesting, great selection of raptors. The team are big on animal welfare and conservation which is reassuring. Would recommend going!

What a great day out. Great to get up close to so many beautiful majestic birds. I had never really taken to vultures until I met Gandolph. (This is a girl but was named before they found out sex of it.) She and her next door neighbour, a turkey vulture, would melt the hardest hearts. It's lovely to see all... More

Visited the centre today with my boyfriend as I bought him the experience for his birthday, he absolutely loved it! He got to hold and fly two different birds, the handlers were great and gave so much information about the birds. The cafe was lovely, throughly enjoyed our lunch! Also if you have kids, the play area looks great for... More

We bought my dad a three hour birds of prey experience for his 70th. He went on Friday and all I can say is he absolutely loved it! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming from when you first go into centre and throughout. He loved every minute from going round meeting and holding lots of the individual birds... More
