Really good place to go surfing or just chill out and relax. Not overcrowded, with beautiful views and really cool coastline. Definitely must see if you stay in Aljezur or Lagos.

Lovely beach, and a great place to watch the surfers. Safe bathing, a nice cafe nearby, you can even get a Thai Massage on the beach. Lots of parking, by the cafe, and in car park further down the road

We came here for surfing lessons with our teenage daughters, and they loved it really good waves. Don't come if you want to swim though, the red flags are almost always up due to the swell and rip currents which surfers are specifically trained about.

I am not aware of surf board hire at the beach, as far as I know there is only a restaurant. However, surf schools do operate from the beach - I think they bring their own boards. There are other beaches in the area where... More
