Nice waves and beautiful bay.

This is a beautiful beach to spend the day. Restaurants near by and it is more protected from the wind than Monte Clerigo. Rent surf equiptment right at the beach.

The West coast of Portugal in the winter, storm or calm is a must. If you like walking or photography you are split for choice.

A small but beautiful beach. Worth parking at the top and walking down for the views, but hard on elderly knees. Surf looks good for the surfers.

Beautiful beach. Much liked by surfers Bit of a hike to get down but well worth it. No facilities on beach as such but a few cafes etc on top of cliff

Getting down to the beach, and back up, can be a problem whether you are driving or walking, we chose to walk this time, but the beach itself is lovely. A reasonably long stretch of beach which has some rocks to climb at one end. Surfers love this beach.

Absolutely lovely time to visit arrifana beach with superb weather and no crowds.....there are still lots of the diehard surfers but a lot more accessible at this time of year. I sat and read a book and was still able to find a local hostelry for a glass of vino blanco at the end of a beautiful day.

great waves, very protected, not so stormy in the late afternoon, good to sit at the beach and wait for the surfer friends to come out of the water

Arrifana beach is a beautiful Beach which is popular with many surfers as it has great surf. In November it is quieter and makes for a lovely relaxing walk. However the beach is reached by a narrow road which has switch backs and is quite steep. At this time of year if you are a confident driver you could park... More

This beach has very nice views. Eventhough it was a little bit cold weather, there were a lot of surfers.
