I joined a one-day tour to Hitachi Seaside Park and Ashikaga Flower Park, the premium outlet is part of the tour. Like any other premium malls in Japan, it has mostly international American brands like Coach, Michael Kor's, Columbia, Gap, Timberland, etc. Many brands offered some very good discounts; in addition, tourists can get tax rebates if purchased above ¥10,000... Great outlet mall. you can enjoy shopping in this sophisticated outlet mall at the 180 domestic and overseas brand shops. In May, you will see the westeria around this place.

My wife and I love outlet shopping and have shopped in the US, France, UK and Japan. This was our third visit to the Sano Premium Outlets, which is just about an hours' drive from Tokyo. We always make a point to visit, whenever we travel to Tokyo, just to try our luck.

Prices were excellent. The selection in my favourite store (Paul Smith) was varied with some items many years old. But overall cheap with great customer service. Compact centre with a great variety of brands. Worth checking out if you're nearby.
