We did a day trip here from Akakura and enjoyed it. Ikenotaira was probably the most beautiful of the "Big 4" of Myoko Kogen. I would say that it's more ideal for beginners though as the runs are not very steep, and more advanced riders...More

Lots of tracks to be had amongst the trees, perfect field to visit when the others are getting hammered by swarms of foreigners, as this one seems to be largely ignored. The few times we visited it was mostly Japanese learners wedging down groomers so...More

Great for a relaxing day of sking. The least busy of the Myoko resorts. Great for beginners. Worth doing a day in my opinion.

Plenty of green runs, good for beginner. There's a green slope which is quite extensive for beginners. My sister who just started snowboarding loved this place (we tried 3 other resorts in a span of a week)

I visited most of the ski slope around Myoko and this place was the best choice. It has a long, wide and not very steep slope. The best thing about this place is that there are less people than the other ski slope in Myoko....More

Many different slopes to ski. I loved the forest course where you can do a little back country in the woods. Must be a snow boarders paradise because they or not many off limit areas.
